A Movie??

I got a little wild hair this morning and decided that since we really didn't have anything to do, other than laundry and grocery shopping which can always wait, and becuase it feels like it will never be nice and warm again, that we should go to the movies. And as in we, I mean Tanner, Carter and I. I have to say I didn't totally think it through because when the thought came to me, I was too excited to think about how exactly this was going to work. They have never been to the movies before. They can't sit through a whole movie at home so why should this be different? And, the big problem, I can't go more than an hour without going to the bathroom-would we all have to go to the bathroom and come back when I had to go? Could I just suck it up and hold it? All these things came to me as we sat down in the theatre after purchasing our tickets and popcorn and lemonade! Well, the boys did great! They sat in their seats, ate popcorn, drank lemonade and watched some of the movie. No, we did not make it to the end of the movie, maybe about half way through.......maybe! But, they had fun, and we had a new experience! Why did we leave? Tanner turned to me and said "Mom, can we go home?" That was my cue. We were up and outta there before anyone had a meltdown! It went so smoothly! Maybe the next time we go to the movies, we will show up 45 minutes late so we can catch the ending!

Fishing and Shopping!

Over the weekend Tanner went with Daddy and Grandpa up to Arrowrock to go fishing. They had a great time!

Tanner ate his way through the day in between fishing trials! No one caught anything this time, but the fish are scared for their next trip!
Tanner the little fisherman!

While the bigger boys were out on the boat, Carter and I went around town with my mom and sister! We hit all the hot spots and had a wonderful day! It has been a really long time since Tyler and I have spent a weekend day apart like this! It was fun but I really missed both Tanner and Tyler and when they finally got home that night, I was so happy to see both of them !

Carter our little shopping trooper! He had a good time being out without his older brother and was a lot of entertainment for us too!

Sheep Shed

We headed out to the Sheep Shed in Nampa for a field trip with Tanner's preschool! It was great! We kicked off the road trip by getting to see a train go right in front of us on Star Rd. The boys thought that was the best ever! When we arrived at the Sheep Shed, it was a cold and windy day and a bit muddy from the rain too! I bundled the boys up and away we went! The couple that owns this place were adorable and put on a great show for us! The kids got to see lots of neat things! We left with two little wool sheep souvenir's too! It was a great day! Definitely a place to go again in the summer!

First up was the sheep sheering! Mr. Gallagher sheered this sheep right in front of all the kids! They loved it!
The sheep acted so calmly and let him do whatever he needed to do to get all his wool off!

More sheering...........

Almost all sheered!

The baby sheep!

Had to snap a picture of this.........Kaylee is in Tanners class and she has 2 brothers, one older and one younger . It was a cold day and the kids get a little cranky when they are chilly........Dad to the rescue, he held all three of them! We thought it was hilarious!

The sheep befor his "hair cut"!

Tanner's priceless face when he see's the sheep being sheered!

Getting to touch the sheep!

The wool wheel!

The Big Truck!

Daddy has started to take one of the big trucks twice a week and so he has been taking it home with him the night before so he can just leave right from home bright and early! The boys just LOVE it when he brings the big trucks home! They climb in and have the best time playing around in the truck! Maybe someday they can even go for a ride!

Spring is Here!

We have warm weather, finally! So, the boys and I headed over to my Grandma's house. She lives in one of the coolest neighborhoods-behind her house is a little path along a creek with ducks! The boys loved going on a walk, feeding the ducks, collecting pine cones, throwing rocks, and feeling the cold water! After that, Great Grandma fixed them corn dogs and set up a little table in front of the TV for them! Wow! They can do NONE of that at our house so it was a real treat!

More duck feeding.......

Let's just say, the ducks are very well fed over here!

Easter Weekend

We had a fun filled Easter weekend! We kicked off the weekend at Bonaventure on Saturday for an egg hunt! When we got there, all the eggs had already been hunted! Oops! Oh well! We visited with the Great Grandma's and everyone and had a fun time! Jill and I had coordinated the boys outfits so we could take their pictures together but of course real life comes into play and Carter decided to cry so the picture isn't totally great, but its totally real! I still think I will photo shop it and frame it!

From there we headed over to the Sterling's for Chelsea and Makayla's 4th birthday party. It was a princess party and it was great! No matter how many times I see those girls it still boggles my mind that there is 2 of them! We all enjoyed ourselves at the party, like always!

After that, we came home and got ready to go over to Jill and Cameron's for some drinks and appetizers before heading out to Angell's for dinner with them and Molly and Emile. It was so awesome that Molly and Emile could come to Idaho for Easter! We really loved getting to meet Emile and having the time to all hang out as a family!

Easter morning rolled around and the boys found their Easter baskets when they woke up and were very excited! So excited in fact that they did not realize that our Easter Bunny over slept and neglected to hide all the eggs they colored over the past week! We headed off to church where they hunted eggs and had a fun time!

After church we went over to my moms house where we spent the morning with Chris, Cam, Grandma, and Mimi. We had a fantastic brunch and the boys were able to go on an egg hunt too! They got all sorts of fun things!

After Brunch we went over to Tyler's parents house for dinner and more egg hunting! Everything was delicious and fun! We couldn't ask for better families!

The pictures are in no particular order below like they should be!

Tanner, Carter and Caden at Bonaventure! Carter is just keeping it real with his little pout!

Caden and Carter teasing the dogs from inside the house!

Makayla and Chelsea blowing out their birthday candles!

Tanner always gets the party going by putting on a dress! He decided that Minnie was a good choice!

He later added a tiara because apparently the dress just wasn't enough!

Cameron, Jill, Emile, Molly, Me and Tyler heading off to our delicious dinner at Angell's! Great food and Great Family!
