Preschool Summer Camp started on Monday and ended today. It was a blast! The kids had a great time and came home with all sorts of crafts and things they had been working on during the week. Camp was from 9 AM to noon this week. I tried to pack in as many adventures as I could in those 3 hours! On Tuesday Lisa took the boys home from camp and so I had the whole day with just Hadley. Easy Street!! Although, I was able to get a ton of stuff done and the house stayed very very clean, it was a little too quiet and I am so happy to have the brothers back home!
First day of camp with the Compton Brothers! This place will never be the same! I'm not really sure what the deal with all the muscle flexing was this day, but it was Carters birthday and so.......they wanted to flex! We squeaked into preschool camp right under the gun with Carter-you had to be 3 and potty trained and he turned 3 the first day of camp and as for the potty thing-he's got the pee pee down pat and as long as I stay on him with the poo poo, he's golden! I was a bit nervous about all that but he did great! No accidents and all the kids reported that he told the teacher when he had to go potty! Hooray!
This was kind of my first experience with preschool camp too! Tanner couldn't go the summer before he started preschool because he wasn't 3 yet (or potty trained for that matter) and then last year Lisa picked up Tanner and brought him home for me because I had just had Hadley and was totally inept, there was no way I was going to be able to get out of the house by 9 AM, let alone look presentable or act coherent!
