Hadley is wearing a coat that was my Grandmas when she was little. Her mom, my great grandma, purchased it at Hudson's Department Store in Detroit, Michigan around 83 years ago. The coat is 100% silk and it is absolutely fabulous. I wish it was my size! Frankly, it scares me a little bit, it's so special and so old, when Hadley wears it there will be no food involved at all! The dress she has on under the coat was made by my grandma for my mom to wear. It is adorable. Both are still a bit big so I'm sure this spring and summer there will be many occasions when she can show of these fabulous vintage pieces! I cannot wait to learn more about the history of these items! What a stylish little girl!
